Software Developer - Middleware

Overview SIG is looking for a software developer to be a key part of an enterprise team that's responsible for our middleware and monitoring systems.   In this role, you will work on a messaging middleware stack, which has been custom designed for the monitoring and management of SIG's world class data center infrastructure and trading applications. This system is a high profile management middleware which is instrumental to SIG's operational success, employing exciting technologies like modern C++, multicast, and Google protocol buffers. As a developer on our team, you'll have a chance to optimize our existing system, and design and implement new systems and infrastructure.       What we're looking for A Bachelor's in comp sci, computer engineering, information systems or a related discipline At least 7 years of experiencedesigning and developing large-scale distributed systems in C++ Experiencedesigning and developing software on both the Linux and windows platforms Experience with multi-threaded development Experience with network programming

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
