Senior Java Developer

Overview Our compliance team is responsible for the oversight of SIG's trade activities across all our products, including options, equities, fixed income, and others. This team has a wide breadth of exposure to both our trading activity and the technologies we use. If you're an expert Java Developer, we would love for you to join our team.   As a developer on this team, you will be using Java, Hadoop and .Net to build these surveillance and monitoring tools. Your skills gathering, analyzing, and defining business requirements will guide the development of our compliance applications. Additionally, you will participate in the entire development process from requirement gathering to deployment. Relevant experience can be substituted for education. At least three (3) years of recent hands-on experience with Java technologies Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment Willingness and ability to work in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle 2018-3629

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
