Duties and Responsibilities

  • Track and calculate sales commissions for internal agents and external partners
  • Generate and distribute sales and commissions reporting
  • Analyze the impact of commission plan changes on compensation
  • Provide recommendations for process improvement and develop new approaches to processes
  • Create and update various management and ad-hoc reports
  • Assist with special projects as needed


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
  • 1 - 3 years of General Accounting experience and financial statement preparation
  • Current knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient in computer, business solutions software skills, payroll regulations and tax laws
  • Strong Excel skills needed -comfortable with data, extracting, generating custom reports, etc
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with Finance and various functional Management teams
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations involving sensitive and confidential employee issues
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills -account and financial statements analysis experience a must
  • Good planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive thinker who can review processes and recommend solutions and issue resolutions
  • Ability to work independently and within time constraints and reporting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and detail-oriented

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
